***Flyboy Story***

Is he still alive? I haven't heard anything about him in over 20 years. What about Bill Lee, a helluva guy?

Buckwheat, had a handful of heart attacks in the 70s and early 80s. He had a fatal one in the mid 80s. I just got off the phone with Bill Stack. I called him because I didn’t know whether Bill Lee was still alive or not. Bill said he wasn’t sure either. I will know for sure in about 3 hours, when Bobby Headrick opens his pool room here. I will let you know what he says. I haven’t seen Bill Lee since 1979 when Stack and I moved to Chicago. You are right, Jay. Bill Lee, was/is a wonderful person with a ton of heart.

So you think

that Cliff and Scott play about even 9 ball, I sure don't. Scott's a great 1 Pocket player, but doesn't play 9 ball near to the level he plays 1 Pocket.
He can get the 7 from Walden or Gabe anytime and not like it.

But, in all fairness, it has been 3-4 years since I watched Scott play 9 ball.

And I imagine Flyboy never wants to see Walden again, as they played
a few months before Walden's big 100k match with Cooney at DCC.

I know Scott's best game is 1hole;as is Cliff's..but you could just bet as high as the sky if you'd like to make a game with either Gabe or James giving Scott the seven! You got action on any table!

Scott plays better than what you think for the dough:D :D

Just talked to Bobby Headrick and he tells me that Bill Lee is still alive and still lives on the MS gulf coast. I was really glad to hear this because Bill was one of the best guy around.
