anybody have a review of the quality of these cases? I have been scouring the forum with the search feature and haven't really found anything.

I even bought one to use as a "bar beater" because of the price. Classic John Barton quality built into the design. All stress points are reinforced and of course it has the ultrapad interior. Very good case for the money. If youre on a budget and want a great case, you couldnt do much better! :wink:
thank you Sir, I am looking for the same thing. I was going to pick up a JB ultimate rugged as I have had them in the past and I know they are great but I see the Focus case for $100 less. Hard to not save the $100 on what I intend it for, but was just curious.
no one else has any experience with these cases?

Are focus cases made and sold by barton, or are they knock offs of his designs?
My understanding, and I could be wrong, is that John designed them, and Jiasen is building them in their factory, as a mass production line. Hence the lower cost and greater availability.

I have no knowledge of what agreement they have, but no, not necessarily.
