Those nachos were the best !
Very true !Yea, not really nachos...more like chips and cheese.
Most around here, and I think the majority now a days, have full kitchens. Without a kitchen, I would think the options are slim, but can be done. One place used to make deli sandwiches, and also had pretzel with chesse, nachos, etc.
I think nowadays you need a liquor license, a full kitchen, and a strong league to survive.
Here are a couple of places I look forward to the food.
Q Masters, Virginia Beach VA
Except for breakfast, I think almost all my meals at the US Open 9-ball was at Q-Masters. Great action, and even better food..
Castle Billiards, East Rutherford NJ
I used to play APA league here. They serve burgers, and great wings. I usually check John Trobiano, the owner for the daily specials
Steinway Billiards, Astoria NY
I think I look forward more to the food than to Earl, Jayson Shaw, or Zion play. Steak dinner and finish it off with Tiramisu for dessert. If you ever eaten at a diner, then Steinway is a Greek Diner with a pool hall attached.
I could be wrong, they also catered the 14.1 Hall of Fame dinner every time the 14.1 championships are hosted at Steinway.
I agree with the liquer license/beer point. Gaurantee i will stick around a pool hall twice as long if it serves drink. Our local places only serve chips and sandwiches and stuff, but ive always wished they served philly cheese steaks hot Reuben sandwiches. Both i think are fairly easily prepared, cant see it being hard to set up to serve them
