Up for sale is one of the best playing cues I have ever hit -- a 12 point Richard Harris Blue Grass cue (serial #1101-9424, which means that it was the 24th cue made by Harris in 1994).

The forearm is Bird's-Eye Maple and features 6 Madagascar Tulip points. Each point has two veneers -- green and blue/green. The butt sleeve is also Bird's-Eye Maple and has 6 Madagascar points with the same veneers. The butt has 3 Southwest style fancy rings; each of the shafts also has a matching ring. The cue has a flat-faced phenolic joint with a 3/8-11 brass screw. It comes with two shafts, each of which has a very rare Yellow Micarta ferrule and a Moori Medium III tip. Both shafts roll dead straight on and off the butt. The wrap is white Irish Linen with green specs. The cue is a standard 58.0" long and comes with a matching joint protector for the butt. The cue weighs 19.9 oz. with either shaft; the butt alone weighs 15.9 oz. One shaft is 13.15 mm; the other is 13.04 mm. Considering the age of the cue, the butt and both shafts are in near perfect condition, with only very minor surface chips at the bottom of the butt cap near the rubber bumper, which chips are hardly noticeable. My price on this cue is just $1,875.00 delivered by FedEx Ground to any point in the Continental U.S.

Wow! If it were lighter I'd buy this cue in a heartbeat. Someone's gonna get a great deal on a great cue.

The weight of this cue is not too heavy at 19.9 oz. because it so well balanced and plays a lot lighter than 19.9. I thought that my scale was broken when I weighed it and reweighed it.

My Tibbits weighs close to 21oz but when people guess the weight they guess around 19????
I guess balance is more important than weight.

HI Mike, could this be by chance the same Richard Harris that Richard C.
had when in massachusetts? If so this was the first bluegrass cue that I had seen. I had a chance to buy this cue. I'm so sorry i didn't. This cue is as good as it gets. 30 years of all kinds of cues. Nothing and I meen nothing feels as sweet as this cue does. Good luck with sale.
