They're on the way!
Just wanted to let everyone who got in on the Derby City Classic Cue Special know that the cues are on the way. All except the one for Joe, which were still working out the details on, and one going to Singapore, who I just emailed with the actual shipping costs.
I use USPS Priority Mail. Should start rolling in tomorrow and some may take as long as til Thursday. They guarantee 2-3 business days for Priority Mail, but I've found it usually runs 1-2 days.
Sorry I didn't get them out sooner, but it's about an hour round trip to the post office and I wanted to consolidate and make it in one or two trips. I also noticed, to my dismay, when I was packing up the cues that the shaft finish didn't match the butt finish, as well as when I'd finished them! I'd used a different clearcoat on the shafts. When I originally buffed them up, they looked fine, but after just a little time, the sheen from the polishing compound seemed to dull some on the shafts. When together, the shaft collar wasn't as shiny as the joint. This bugged me so I spent most of the weekend re-spraying the shafts, with the same clear as on the butts and getting them ready to mail first thing this morning. The results were worth the extra effort! Enjoy the cues, Guys! And, thanks again for your support!
