8 out of 9 of the Palmers I've listed recently have sold within hours of being offered, so think about it if you must. Here's another Palmer that would make a great modern player at 18 ounces (with classic old school straight grain look and feel). You could slap a LD shaft on it, preserve the original, play with it for 2 years, retain your LD shaft, make a little money and move on to the next.
