Up for sale is a JAMES WHITE hoppe cue signed by James and dated 10-03. The cue is in MINT CONDITION (not a ding, dent or scratch on the butt or either shaft). This cue is depicted in the color photo section of the Blue Book of Pool Cues Third Edition (2005) at page 93. The forearm features 4 Ebony points with 5 veneers (ebony, red, blue, lime green and natural) into a gorgeous piece of highly figured Bird's-Eye Maple. The butt sleeve is Ebony and sports a thick Ivory hoppe ring. The wrap is white Irish Linen with black specs. The joint is piloted stainless steel with a 5/16-14 screw. The black phenolic collars at the joint have 8 Ivory stitches. This White is 58 inches long and weighs 19.6 oz. with one shaft and 19.4 oz. with the other; the butt alone weighs 15.6 oz. The shaft diameters are 12.97 mm and 12.94 mm. The shafts have Ivory ferrules and roll straight together and apart. Each of the shafts look like they have never been played, are free of chalk stains, and have a meaty tip. One shaft has a laminated tip (most likely a Moori); the other has a nonlaminated tip. My price on this White materpiece is just $1,750.00 delivered by USPS Express Mail to any point in the Continental United States.

Mike, very nice cue. I really like that one. Just wish I could afford it. Good luck with your sale.

I'm in the same boat wish I could afford it.I'll trade a body organ for it ,my trunk.

James White cue

This James White cue is one of the nicest cues i've ever owned and the only reason I sold it was to buy an inlaid fancier Paul Mottey cue. If you aren't into inlays and fancy cues you can't do any better than this cue.

Just curious... has this cue ever seen an owner in Las Vegas?! If so, it may have passed through my hands at some point. Helluva cue.
