This is a beautiful Stacey done in the SouthWest style. The pictures speak for themselves but I will add a little description. The cue hits good, solid and crisp. I haven't played much with it but enough to chip the butt cap in a few places. Also there is some dust or something in the finish so a refinish would probably be good. It's not really that noticeable in the pool room but under the light and especially the camera's light it's glaring.
The wood is a very very nice combination of birdseye maple and cocobolo. Points are all even and super sharp.
Cue is dead straight together and apart. Weight is around 19.5. 13mm ferrules on both shafts and I think ivorine3 ferrules. Don't know what the tips are.
Price new is $1800. I will take the best offer OVER $900 in the next 24 hours. I know Stacey cues aren't one of the darlings of the cue world and I know all about some of your feelings about doing the SouthWest look. Whatever......this is a SOLID cue that looks great and it plays great.
I traded for it so I can afford to take a hit and I'd rather invest the money into something else.
I have decided to only collect cues which have been made for me by the cue maker with whom I have a direct relationship and which I traded for. This obviously will limit my cue acquisitions quite a bit but it will make each one special to me. Not that you needed to know that to buy this cue but I felt like telling you anyway. My loss, your gain sort of thing
So here you go - if you want bigger pix I have them at about 1.5mb each
