how can u be so sure no one pm'ed him and said they'd take it before you. just cuz u posted doesnt mean you're the first one, not everyone who contacts him posts in the thread.

I DID NOT GET THIS CUE EITHER. I MADE HIM AN OFFER FIRST RIGHT AFTER HE POSTED LIKE FEW MINUTES. HE POSTED AT 10:28PM LAST NIGHT , I PM HIM AT 10:48PM AND HE PM ME THIS MONRING AT 9:30 AM CUE SOLD..

so that just means that the 20 minutes between him putting it up for sale and you pming him, someone else pm'ed and said they'd take it first. doesnt seem that unreasonable or surprising considering what he priced the cue at. i saw the cue a minute after he posted so im sure someone else did too and while i didnt contact him someone else probably did.

THAT IS TRUE...THERE IS ALWAYS CUES FOR SALE HERE....:D
 
Sorry guys, someone PM'd me almost immediately after I posted and offered me over asking price so I had to say yes. I might have a Judd for sale end of this week. Ebony forearm and butt, birdseye maple handle, 2 shafts. It's the same cue Efren won the world championships with, just the woods are reversed. Let me know if you are interested.

Actually I think it was smart, if I were bidding on a cue that was priced that low I would want to overbid to secure my offer. That's why he got the cue.
 
Ok everybody I bought the cue. I know the seller personally and he's been trying to sell the cue before he posted it here. I was also helping him shop the cue around. I found a buyer who was willing to pay the original asking price (not $280) and told the seller that I'd buy the cue until my guy could get the cash. The original seller needed funds ASAP, so as a friend, I bought the cue so he could have the funds now. I saw the interest in the cue and let my buddy know ASAP that I would buy the cue now so he could get his original price. Hope this clears everything up.

I think it is rediculous that you even had to come on here and explain anything. Some people just get sour grapes when they don't get what they want or think they know everything and don't. You sound like a good friend.

The situation was already under control, and the cue was sold. Pretty simple.
