The entire cue was recently refinished by Ed Young. There are zero dings or dents on the cue. The one shaft has been reconditioned but there is a thin surface crack on the ivory ferrule. According to Ed, the crack is hairline thin and only noticeable from the chalk so he left the ferrule alone. You can see it in the picture below. When I'm playing with it I don't feel it or notice a difference.

Here are the specs:

19oz
58in
5/16-14 pin
original cork wrap
12.8mm ivory ferrule w/triangle tip
broad-leaf maple nose
amboyna burl butt
rings@A,B,D,E

ASKING $750 shipped. Questions? Contact chicagocuecollection@yahoo.com.

Thanks! - Jason

Beautiful cue. I remember back when this was on ebay....I still regret not outbiding you. : )

Looks like it cleaned up nicely.

Too bad it has a stainless joint or I would take it.....would go really nice with my 4 other Padgetts.

Ring material?

Are those silver rectangular rings? Is there wood between the rectangles or is it solid black phenolic - hard to see in the photos? Nicely figured forearm.

The rings are phenolic with blue-stained maple dashes. No silver in the rings. Thanks! Jason

please correct me if i am wrong, but i recently heard from a local source that tim is not making cues anymore. he got burned for a bunch of cues on a overseas deal and i think he closed shop soon after.

i heard the same. in any case, it sounds like he's quit. too bad. he was local but did solid work. a disciple of schrager. you don't see many on the market.

Jason, great looking cue. That forearm wood is the best lighter colored wood Ive ever seen. You always have great cues and Im sure this one will sell soon. Ive had great dealings with Wuclan in the past. Bump for an awesome looking cue. Deacon

It is true he isn't making cues for the public anymore. I have an old sneaky-ish pete he made me a dozen years ago. It still plays well, although I use my Vollmer now.

Last I heard Tim was working for Imperial International full-time. I understand he might be setting up to make a few cues part-time in the near future. I've had a few offers including trades but so far the cue is still available.

Thanks! Jason

I spoke with Tim about 1 1/2 weeks ago. He does work for Imperial, he did get burned for some $$ and that put him in a bind, he is still making full custom cues (very limited), no sneaky's, he has a few partially finished cues that can be finished if anyone is interested.

PM me and I can put you in contact with him. EDIT - Or just buy this one!!!!!!!!!
