THE CUE HAS BEEN SOLD
woohoo.gif

This Cue belongs to a very good friend of mine, and I told him I would put it up on the forum for sale for him, as he is worst using a computer than me.

The Cue was build by Mike Bender of Delta Junction Alaska, and was delivered in July of 1996. The Cue is One of a Kind, Amboyna Burl, (everything white) is Pre Band Elephant Ivory, Butt Cap, Joint, Ferrules, Daggers, etc. (everything gold) is 14 Karat gold, (everything silver) is Sterling, and the Cue has a Matching Brown Leather Wrap.

The Cue is a real work of art, and must be seen in person to be really appreciated, as my photos do not really do this work of art justice. Mike Bender apparently said to the owner a personal friend of Benders, he would never do an All Amboyna Cue again.

The Cue has (2) 13 mm Pool Shafts, and (1) 11.5 mm Snooker Shaft. Joint is Bender?s Standard Flat Faced Ivory Joint with a 3/8x14 stainless steel pin.

Cue weight with Pool Shafts is (1) 18.75 Oz, with Pool Shaft (2) 18.75 Oz., and the Snooker Shaft 19.5 Oz.

One Pool Shafts is Totally Unplayed, the other Two Shafts have may 8-10 hour play time total.

Cue has been stored in a Smoke Free, Child Free, Pet Free environment and Owner is the Cue?s Original Owner.

Retail for the Cue at time of purchase was $3,900.00 My buddy is looked for a realistic offer over $2,750.00. He is not interested in any TRADES. Seller is equipped to accept PayPal as payment.

Hope you enjoy looking at the photos of this work of art. If you are a serious buyer, and would like to contact the owner via e-mail.

Please E-mail him directly. The Cue is located in the Phoenix Metro Area.

Since the cue is a Bender, it has a Parabolic Taper is the butt straight when rolled or is there a wobble.
I think I would be afraid of answering that question. Most people do not seem to be able to grasp the concept.

If you can't answer that question you should not be selling the cue in the first place!!!! Because it may come back to haunt you sooner than later!!!!;) Even if the cue belongs to someone else, when you agree to sell it your reputation is no the line.;)

I think I worded it wrong. He should answer it. It just seems a lot of people do not understand that type of taper.

I understand that, but many here on the forum also do not understand their responsibility when they sell a cue on this forum. Most people do not understand that even if they are selling something for someone else they are the responsible party for the given description, and all of facets of the transaction. It is also their reputation that is on the line if things go bad, as they sometimes due here on AZ!!!!!!;)

No offence or disrespect intended but these are the facts!!:)

Have a good night!!!!!!!!!!

I would have responded sooner but I did not bother to look at the post as I figured if anyone had questions they would ask the seller via e-mail. :)

I think the seller could answer that question best. Please E-mail him directly.

***Talked to the seller a few minutes ago, apparently he has received several e-mails from interested parties, and the e-mails were answered.

Nothing could be more true,
I did ask him if it had any wobble at all when rolled both together and apart?
His response:
Hi Jay, Rechecked this morning, no wobble in any of the 3 shafts or the butt either together or apart.

Isnt that something?

Well as I have know the seller/owner 10 years all I will say is his word is like a signature on a notarized contract.

Did the seller give you his phone number should you have more questions jayman?

I was only trying to convey that there always seems to be a lot of confusion on weather or not a cue with a paragon taper is straight. There has been countless threads where that conversation has taken place. All I was saying is that it is a can of worms. Sorry to screw up your sale, good luck.

It is not my "sale" the Cue belongs to a very good friend whom use to had a large Cue collection at one time. He is down to this Cue, and his two keepers.

Like I said I have know him 10 years, he is honest, trustworthy, and a man of his word. Otherwise I would not have put the Cue up for him For Sale.

There is an e-mail link to the seller should anyone have any more questions for the seller.

If I wanted a Bender for my little collection, and the cue was Cocobolo I would jump on this Cue. ;)
