Glen (therealkingcobra) gave some advice about things you can do about high humidity tables. One of the things was to but an electic blanket on the table overnight or when not in use. I have been doing this for about a week now with great results.
Most mornings the humidity in Tampa is from 85 - 99%. (table out on screened patio). With the blanket on overnight the table is dry (normal humidity) in the morning and plays perfect. I go out between 7:30am-8:30 am to start playing my first two hour session of the day. Before the electric blanket the cloth would be very slow, so you had to stroke the ball pretty hard. That part was not so bad, but the rails were 10 times faster (very bouncy) than normal. So the QB was almost impossible to control if you needed to hit a rail or two. I've even had cross-side shots come back off the rail and launch in the air. I hit myself in the face once and a few times in the chest. Electic blankets are cheap now and only take a few seconds to put on and they work great. Thanks Glen. Johnnyt
