For the "no one wants to watch pool on TV" crowd

Flipping through channels at league:

News - next
Baseball - next
Drone Racing - many in the room watched for an hour.

It's just something new / different.

I agree, the production of pool on ESPN these days is so horrific to watch. It makes it feel so cheap in terms of presentation.
 
ESPN still does the Challenge of Champions, great production quality. I have been saying all along, put the Mosconi Cup and World Pool Masters on Netflix. People will eat it up!

That is really a hint of what would draw ratings for pool.
Get celebrities to pair up with professional players and have a scotch doubles 8 ball match.

The same template for dancing with the stars, where celebrities are paired up with seasoned dancers and see where it goes.

All I know is having Connor mcgregor partnered up with Earl Strickland, wired for sound, versus Joe Rogan and Jayson Shaw, would dwarf the legendary Mosconi vs Fats ratings.

Golf does that...not sure what it did for ratings....now if you put Earl and Jayson in the Octagon...that's a different story. :)
