I've always liked the quality level of Richard's cues. These are no exception.
These two came in within a week of one another for mating & matching of Predator shafts.
Both owners sent the orig. shafts, each with a note stating, "please just cut-off and use
the rings from the orig. shafts".
For those that don't know, I go to great lengths to avoid doing that.
I will not trash a shaft just for it's rings, particularly shafts with ivory ferrules.
I routinely do matching sterling silver rings for Cognoscenti cues so doing sterling rings
for the RC3s was just another day at the office.
Now, the owners get to keep the orig. shafts with the cues, thereby maintaining the cue's
full value and they have the matching Predator shafts that they wanted.
All in a day's work at Seyberts. Actually, it took me several days. Lol.

very cool ringwork. I never understand why people want to do away with original shafts. I like the fact that you chose to make new rings.
I have always gotten good customer service at Seybert's as well.

They turned out great! I should know the ebony one is mine. And the other one used to be mine. Sold it to a friend and his game has improved. He is a little off but the new shafts should fix everything. I also like the idea of saving the shafts. But at first, when I called in, it was not an option that they gave me. But, I do like the way this has turned out.

It was truly a pleasure to do these shafts for you. It makes all the difference in the
world when working with such high quality cues, which these certainly are.

I was told that one of the owners was an AZB member and thought that you might get a
peek at these. Hope I didn't spoil the surprise. Lol
