I'm using one similar to this: but I don't recall the specific brand. All the ones I'm seeing in the states get mediocre reviews at best. I'd like one I can just clip over my pocket opening if that matters. Thanks as always!
I did that but they all seem to get bad reviews from what I've seen.
Thanks. I'm using a magnetic one now but I don't care for it. Looking for one of those just leather or whatever pouches you just put the chalk in.I'm using one similar to this: but I don't recall the specific brand.
It came with several different shaped holders. I use the round for Taom. I put it in my shirt pocket instead of my pants pocket and it works great as long as I don't forget and 'sit the chalk on the table'.
konllen one looks pretty nice. never used or ever seen anyone use one to be honest.I did that but they all seem to get bad reviews from what I've seen.
Thanks! I'll look at that one.konllen one looks pretty nice. never used or ever seen anyone use one to be honest.
I'm of the same opinion with the Taom pouch. It's fine for what it is, but I expected leather instead of vinyl or whatever it's made out of.Got the Taom one but haven't used it, I would say I'm not impressed in the quality or size just based on messing around with it at home. Thought maybe it'd be a good option but basically decided to not even bother after handling it.
Just gonna stick with carrying it from table to chair in my hand, spent some good time developing that habit so might as well use it
Thank you!Wild Wing posted about what he’s been using for years which happens to be what I have used a long time as well.
Spend the money and get the best, at least it was when WW & myself got ours,…..Peradon. It’s made in England
so the shipping expense is as much as the pouch that excludes tariff. It has the best leather, pouch opening and
lasts. I’ve had mine for well over a decade, maybe 2010? It fits snug, pouch mouth is convenient & chalk stays in it.
Look at the photos illustrating how soft and pliable the Peradon pouch leather is. Admittedly mine is worn in a long time but it was always soft from the day it arrived. I recall ordering it after seeing Allison Fisher use a Peradon chalk pouch in a televised pool tournament. It was barely noticeable and so handy when she wanted to chalk. No walk to the chalk or hand carrying to put down to shoot only to have to pick it up again & again. You simply retrieve your chalk and just return it to the pouch.
Screw those magnet holders or goofy chalk sticks that can be like raccoon tails on a Schwin bike like when I was 11 years old. If you want a chalk pouch, don’t come back and gripe about quality. Just toss it in your drawer and forget about it or else get Peradon and tell others it was worth the extra cost. The TAOM pouch quality in pics sucks.
