Yes and don't forget to close your eyes when you go down on the shot - you don't want to be looking at that laser.

But, I told him a story about a pool hall here who had Big G tables and the cushions were wavey and balls all bounced funny.

There is far to many variables for this thing to possibly work. For kicks it may be alright but i even doubt that. Banks and kicks are more of a feel thing than a math thing. Speed is the biggest variable of all, does this tell you how many MPH to hit the ball? And how can you judge how fast you are hitting a ball anyways. As an example, set up a dead bank and hit it hard into the rail then hit it soft into the rail. Where the ball ends up can differ by over 2 feet depending on the speed. If you wanna banks learn how to do it right!! The biggest help with me was learning how to transfer slight english to the object ball to spin it a few inches short or long off the rail. That improved my banking ability by about 50% probably.

I still can't run 3 friggin' balls, but I bank better than anyone in my area. In fact, I now lose $ on purpose in 9ball or 1hole, then say I'll play banks for big $. I've more than gotten my $ back. Works every time.

I cant be convinced. It would definetely help, I'll give you that, but there is no way it can be an exact guide, especialy on a 2 rail cross table kick where it curves off the last rail. A laser line doesnt show the curve, also it is dependent on what angle the mirrors sit at. There is far far to many variables.
