Dave would NOT be part of any conspiracy . And Barbara is right --- your so-called apology better reach Dave quickly.

Bye the way, I also post on CCB and OnePocker.Org. So what ???

Troy...~~~ Must be one of those "bad people" --- Oh well, that's just tough.

I owe an apology to Dave Syria, even though I still suspect that he and others were also involved in some way or another. Sorry Dave, but you were a member of the CCB family and I never did like you anyway, but you still have my apology.

My username, obviously is my name, but have used sweetmarissa for email before - a play on the song, "sweet melissa".

The guy is FUC*ING dying and you think he gives a shit about your apology. That was one of the most insensitive posts I have ever read on here. Go back to pretending to be Columbo.

Why did you choose your Screen Name, Handle, or AKA, or what does your Screen Name, Handle, or AKA mean?

I am boring so I use my Real Name, plus it is easy to remember... :D

Why?: I'm fat, and from Secaucus.

What does it mean?: See above. :D

Names...

ok...back in the day my dad went to Laurinburg Institute with Boston Celtics HOF'r Sam Jones...so they where known as: North Carolina Sam, and...'Jersey Sam',(even though my Dad was born in NC too), so it's for my Dad who taught me to play, and where I grew up...

GO NETS!

My pool guru/teacher/friend (a former top road warrior) told me a story once about playing in different towns under an assumed name; he said he occasionally called himself Willie Betmore. I thought it was funny as hell. I was just starting out in pool, didn't really want to give out my real name in all the places I knew I was headed; figured Willie was as good as any. I did get a charge out of hearing Scott Smith paging a "Willie Betmore" 2 years ago at DCC. I went over to him, he told me he was just doing it as a joke (who would really want to talk to me).

The first time I ever beat anyone out of any significant money at pool - he only knew me as Willie. After the game he asked me for my full name (it was a very friendly game - the only type I prefer), I gave him Willie Betmore. He exclaimed, "damn, you're that guy from AZB, I should have known better." That was one of my greatest pool moments. I didn't tell him I was way below the average AZB'er (at least the ones I've met so far).

Two years ago at the WPBA Peoria stop, I was introduced by one of the professionals to a friend of hers. This guy was described by her as one of the most knowledgeable pool players/students of the game that she had ever met - a man with impeccable pool credentials, knowledge, and love of the game. Sure enough within minutes I had found out that he was an AZB'er, I recognized his handle; I felt like I halfway knew him already. There are some incredible resources on this board (if you can successfully identify them).

This guy, along with Rackin Zack, Woody, Sarah R, DrCuesProtege, and Wally are about the only AZB'ers that I have met. I have found them all sincere, all lovers of the game, and all exactly as they describe in their posts. In a world filled with cynicism about the integrity of anonymous internet posters (I personally give no credence to the near-incoherent ramblings of anonymous posters such as myself), I find it very refreshing to interact with these people. DAMN, the internet is a great invention.

At the pool room where I started playing pool, I was one of the few people who went to college, and there were a lot of "Daves", so it just happened that all the "Daves" got pre-fixes in front of their names to distinguish one from another. Here are some examples, Drunk Dave, Movie Dave, Tattoo Dave, Little Dave, and I got College Dave.

I have since graduated college, and I am now in law school, but College Dave stuck. I spell it with a K because yahoomail wouldn't let my address be spelled with a "C".

I don't have a handle, and I am a trucker- were they supposed to hand those out somewhere? Oh well, guess I am a square.

I figured my real name was original enough... I'm not very creative so I decided to just stick with what I've already got.

I use the handle AceHigh, because when playing B&M texas hold'em, I have such good reads on people that I have been known to call someone's all-in with just an ace high.

My other handle on other sites is SuperJon, because my first name is Jon, and I'm SUPER!!

Von is my middle name. I started out playing Yahoo blackjack as Vonn and kept adding numbers to my name and changing my username everytime I would get into negative money. I started winning at Vonn31. Now Yahoo doesn't go into negative money. I have some yahoo names that are negative $1,000,000 and more. LOL
