Basically the game is simple .... make balls in your hole ... defend against your opponent ... in the middle of that .. come up with creative shots to achieve those ends

read and watch tom wirths books and dvds to get the ideas, but by no means is the game of 1 pocket limited to just those examples. one pocket by nature is a game of creativity ... play the game ... enjoy the game .. be defensive ... be creative

i dont have to ... everyone already knows this .... its a simple game once you play a few rounds .... the difficult part is executing shots.... executing shots is a fundamentals issue and not a one pocket issue
