Found this cheap kit on ebay. Worth it?

Is it worth it to spend 139$ on this kit?
Are these cues good enough for a beginner player, or will they dismantle to pieces in a week?

Thanks,

Margus.

I have never heard of the brand, but I would be very careful and consider the price verse what you are getting. While $139 is not much money and free shipping is included, you always get what you pay for and when something seems to good to be real it most likely is!!!

You see I do not know how the products could be even decent qaulity for the price, and if the items do not meet your expectations you are going to have to send them back to Hong Kong, because apprently they do not have a US Distributer if they are sell diect from Hong Kong.

In my opinion with all considered I would pass.

i've purchased 3 of their cues.one i sold to a gal on our pool team.she loves it.the other 2 we gave away at our men's league wrapup.no complaints yet.the quality far exceeds the price....rick.

If you have a target price of 139 or so, I would highly recommend not wasting it on made-in-china junk,,, you can count on the shaft warping within a year, if it isn't already.....
For 139 or less, you can get a quality Dale Perry cue- 5 or 6 on Ebay
every day--- no comparison...
and you can always pick up a cheap case or break cue.

I'll second that. you can find an american made quality cue for not much money these days, and Koinkid, another az member has some decent albeit foreign jump/breaks for $60 shipped.

Margus,

I know you don't know me from a hole-in-the-wall, but to answer your question honestly, yes they're worth it...IMHO!!!

I've purchased several over the last year (from this seller directly) and almost kept several for myself. They are very very decent cues for the money spent. I have had no complaints from the APA League players who bought these cues (yes, I flipped them)...and like I said, I almost kept some for myself.

In your thread, you're going to hear a lot of "buy-American"...I agree to a point...but I shoot with a Mezz...it's not American made either. Granted, I have numerous custom cues from American cuemakers, but I shoot with an expensive import as my main player...

These are GREAT cues for someone to get started with...IMHO!

Jason

p.s. If you scroll through the seller's feedback, you'll see me listed several times as a "satisfied customer"

p.p.s I can only attest to the playing cues...I've never purchased the case or J/B

p.p.p.s. Are they "the bees knees"...the answer is no. However, they're a great starter cue...and some of you doubters would actually be surprised how these cues hit...
