is the four jaw chuck a good upgrade for a hightower deluxe,i only use this for repairs but wonder if its worthwhile to change.its a cheap upgrade if it helps in any way.

I really like mine that I bought from Todd Shultz here on AZ and it seems to have a little better grip than my three 3 jaw chucks but I haven't tried threading a 3/8 10 pin hole yet under power. I do think that the accuracy is as good or better with the 4 jaw, so overall I say it is an upgrade. Contact tsp@b here on az for a great price.--Leonard

if anyone is interested I have a brand new four jaw taig independant chuck laying around....it is the best for acuracy but you gotta know how to indicate it......not good for cue work unless your doing metal work like pins.....I also use it for bumping centers on butterfly work but that is a recent thing...
