Your book is great and we need another one on One Pocket.

One page 167 you show Vern Elliots' legendary shot. I talked to Vern casually about a year ago and he wouldn't say exactly how he made this shot. He sort of agreed when others said it was a jump shot or a masse shot.

Have you ever seen him make this shot? I only talked to one person who said he made the shot and he said the spotter sets it up for him on consecutive tries and at some point the spotter puts the object ball closer to the side pocket and actually puts it on the pocket/rail corner. It really just banks of the tit.

What do you think?

For those of you who do not have the book---time to buy it!!!

Yes, I have seen Vernon make the shot. Vernon is too much of an old scuff to release anything. He doesnt jump it and he doesnt masse it and it is not spotted on the tit. He uses ultra extreme english with a perfectly timed stroke. Vernon was blessed with a one-in-a-million stroke and was able to do extrordinary things. There is no teaching what he was able to do.

I set that shot up several times and to my amazement eventually banked it in once. I was never able to do it again, however,as that's one extremely difficult bank shot.

I'm impressed. Just a couple questions:
1. What size table?
2. What cloth? New or old?
3. What cue ball?
4. Conditions---balls clean or dirty; humid or dry.
5. Did you have to shoot it hard as a brake shot?
