The Carom Club wants to express our appreciation to those donating to our club.

The owner and senior member of our private carom club (Neal Schouten) has been diagnosed with lung cancer which has metastasized . Naturally, many of us are keeping him in our prayers.

We want our club (that was established in 1963) to continue to flourish and promote the game we love.

We have asked each of our billiard vendor supporters to donate a cue to our Olhausen Handicap Tournament on Dec 2-4 to be used by us to raise funds. Go to our club site for pictures of these beautiful gifts.

Please help the Carom Club continue by making a donation. Each $25 or more donor will receive a free gift in appreciation for your kind contribution. One of these donated cues may be that gift! All donors will receive a free gift. It may be a key chain, a t-shirt, or one of our expensive cues donated by Schuler by Noel, Hanbat by Bassel, Tiger by Mazin, or Kilby by Ron.

My $100 donation is on the way.

I urge all billiard enthusiasts to support this good cause. The Carom Club has been in existence for 48 years. It is one of the only places to play billiards in Michigan. It supports many carom disciplines in addition to three cushion, including straightrail. And the Club has hosted USBA tournaments, including USBA national qualifiers. The loss of the Carom Club would be great. It's a venerable institution that needs to be preserved so that carom billiards can continue to grow.
