This weekend should be a great event filled with lots of one pocket and gambling after hours action.The Desert Classic Tour is having the One Pocket AZ State Champions this Saturday and Sunday from Kolbys Corner Pockets in Tempe AZ.Check out the Tours site for videos and info at www.desertclassictour.com .We have alot of great players who should be in attendance,some notable one hole players will be Scott Frost,Mitch Ellerman,Bernie Pettipiece,Tres Kane,George Teyechea,Preacher Ronn Rutan,and last but definately not least is our very own San Jose Dick McMorran Aka SJDinPHX among his other various names.

We will be having an interview with Dick and we welcome questions,we will be doing this interview Saturday after the one pocket is over with and before the after hours action starts.I do believe this will be a great event,this is my favorite game and if I have the extra scratch then I might actually play in it and perhaps not go 2 and out. :grin:We will be broadcasting live at 11am MST this Saturday at www.ontherailtv.com and I am sure Saturday will go until the morning as Kolbys is open til 6am!Thanks to our sponsors for bringing this to you,Albrecht Custom Cues www.albrechtcustomcues.com ,AZ Billiards www.azbilliards.com ,and On Q Cases www.onqcases.com .

It is quite a trip to go all the way over there but I am sure one of these days I will venture out that way.Glad to hear Metro is back in business. :smile:

YAH that is the way I feel about going to the "east" Valley, too long a drive, too much GAS.

Well the last time I played the 8 ball at Metro I took 3rd or something and won like $20,there was around 30 people too,lol,but itis what it is,cheap pool and a night out. :)
