Free money!

I also thought the post was a little odd.

If you check their previous posts, you can see they are opinionated and a bit rude.

my guess is.. this guy's too chicken shit to reveal his identity.

so who's the "***** ass nigga"?

with regards to the Am tour it doesnt matter if dean plays or not i would still play. the point of the tour is not to make sure everyone plays on a equal level.

dean can play cuz hes not a pro. and i will play cuz its a tournament.

u think there were handicaps in the canadian amateurs? no. and we all still played or tried to qualify and no one complained about it not being fair.

the tournament is an amateur open so its even races. not all tournys can be like the 404.

even in pro tournys the top guys are always a step or two ahead of the other players.

its an open tournament. races r even. play or dont play. dont complain.

Thanks for your input. I never said I wouldnt play, thats for sure. It would depend on the entry fee and when the tournaments are along with location to see if I am able to play. I would also like to try and qualify for Canadians again this year if they actually run some qualifiers. Last year was BALLS.

Since the info hasnt came out yet. Anyone care to make a friendly wager on say the handicap levels they will allow to play?

I'll say 7 and under on the 404. $20? If its not clear the handicap system they're following, we can call off the bet.

The majority of us know who everyone else is even if they dont use their real names. Ive tried to figure out who it is by the posts and I still have no clue.

At one point I thought I knew who it was by one comment and another time I thought it was someone completely different. Either way, it would be nice for someone to say "Hey, Im John Smith and I think you're a dick" or something of the like.

One thing I try to make sure I do personally is I'll never post something that I wouldnt say to someones face.

I will be at Shooters tomorrow pretty early for the tournament if anyone wants to play some.

Im either going to run out or go down in a ball of flames. Guaranteed!

free money??????????

I have no idea who you are but this is just an observation..... You seem to love to match up based on your Monday or Wed handicap. It sounds like some of the matches u set up are in the 100 a set range. Isn't that 1st place in one of these weekly tourny's???? Seems logical you dog the weekly's to keep your ranking down

Pay attention for a little while, get to know some of the players in the area and then maybe make a comment like that. I set up matches from $5 - $500 lately, I work the majority of the time and pretty much everyone knows how I play.

It costs me over $20 in gas just to play the Monday or Wednesday tournament, and I'll dump $45 (including gas, without factoring in food, beer, etc) to win $100 sets? Doesnt add up.

Thanks for your comment, wanna play some?

LOL, I couldnt agree more with you Dan on this one.

I've been playing the tourneys on Monday/Wednesday/Saturday for more than a year now. Made money 5 times. Never won any of these tourneys. Sure, I play like a donkey but still, I have my good days.

However, when I gambled with Dan about 8 months ago, it was nothing like playing the tourneys. It was fun, exciting and entertaining. Tourneys tend to get long and boring especially when you know your next match is against Jason Klatt and you know u'll be doing a lot of racking and sitting.

So Id rather win/lose $50 on a couple of sets than pay $45 and end up with nothing and play only 1 match.

Gambling matches are better for me because I cant just rebuy back into a tournament after Ive been put out. I can rebuy in a gambling session til the cows come home.

Ive matched up with a bunch of people at Shooters, made games in my area, my home room, travelled to other rooms to play etc and Id like to think I am a respectful gambler when the respect goes both ways.

Im still looking for games and usually I have a line up around the block waiting to play me but recently its been inconsistant. I dont make as many trips to shooters and I seem to work a lot more often. I do have a couple players on my 'hit list' who Im holding out on to try and get a good game against them. They dont post or read the forum so hopefully it will be a surprise for them soon! ;)

There is also a game in the works coming up soon. Myself and Erik Hjor vs Al Smart and Isard playing doubles. Im trying to get just straight doubles but they're pushing for alternate shot..... figured I could go along for the ride and maybe Erik runs a 10 pack or something.
