Are Leon Sly and Bob Frey (spelling?) the same person?

LOL.....no not the same. Similar? Well they both build cues.
Different person/cuemakes. I have dealt with both of the cuemakers Sly or Frey they are very nice person to deal with.:thumbup:
I have spoke with Leon, great guy!! Never spoke with Bob, but my curiosity is making me ask why the question. What leads you to believe that they may be one in the same?

Bob is a custom cue builder, very responsive to clients. Great person. A few months ago, I was researching a cue built by him that I got as a gift. I called several dealers to get a bit more info on it. That same day, Bob called me (after been notified of my inquiry) directly to answer all my questions about the cue. I have been extremely satisfied with the cue, looks and plays excellent! Thinking about getting another one, and a Justis case to store them.

Big fan of both makers' cue designs and style.
I noticed they both like to use hoppe rings and identify their cues with lettering on the ring. Had to ask.
BtW, I own a Frey ebony sneaky. Maybe someday I will be able to pickup a Sly.
