Every Friday night at the Q club in Terre Haute IN there is an 8 ball tournament on 3 valley bar tabls. It is a $10 entry fee race to 3 on the winners side and race to 2 on the loosers. The winners of the tournament over an 8 week or so period can come back and play in a final tournament so to speak that costs $25 dollars to anyone who has not previously won the tournament or if someone wins it twice the person who got second is able to play. This past Friday was the first tournament at the end of the 8 weeks and there were 8 people. The house added $240 which made it an even $350 to the winner on the tournament side and there was another $300 in the calcutta. The tournament pays one spot and the calcutta pays two. The winner got $530 for the tournament and the calcutta and the second place spot payed $120.
