I have a friend that is looking to buy a new cue. Her budget is $300 or less.

She is looking for the following conditions:

17 to 18 oz
New and Unused
Prefers wrapless but will look at wrapped cues
Likes a softer hit on a cue
Joint - Did not mention preference

Most likely in this price range for "new" it will be a production like a McDermott, Lucasi, Viking, Meucci etc...possibly a PJ Custom.

Snakewood points with a silver veneer. Leather wrap and piloted SS joint.

Ringwork in all positions. Full 13mm shaft. Both butt and shaft roll straight.

I will have to weigh the cue when I get home from work. I know it it light as I too like a light weight cue. Will send info after 6 this evening.

Would a N.O.S. leather wrapped McDermott "Marilyn Monroe" be of interest? I also have several Meucci Rose cues with sealed wraps.

Tony, my apologies not sure what N.O.S. stands for (must be tired this morning)? She may be interested, and I don't know exactly her taste outside of what I listed. I don't know her really well, she plays league on my gf's team. Go ahead and list all pictures/specs or P.M. me on the Meuccis and McDermotts you have for sale. Thanks
 
New Old Stock. This is a cue that was made back in 1993, McDermott Legends Series LDG-02. Cue is NEW NEVER USED. I have had it for around 10 years.

Please check out my post for the Jacoby wrapless which is priced at $295. It weighs 18.5oz but does have a weight bolt that can be removed. I also have several brand new Lucasi cues at up to 55% off MSRP!
 
Notice to this buyer and all others- If one wants a brand new, custom made, high quality plain jane cue with rings at all points, and genuine leather wraps for a price between $300 and $350, talk to Tommie1351. These cues are made by a long time cue maker, under the label of UNITY. I have personally seen these cues and played with them on my table at home. They are worth twice the money. The woods are terrific, the hit is solid as a rock.
You can't go wrong with a "One of a kind" custom made Plain Jane, WITH LEATHER and RINGS for $300!!

I have a Meucci 97-10 that has only been test hit.
This cue is still like new except for the chalk on the tip.
Wt. can be removed or adjusted, just like any other Meucci.
99% cond.

Those are really nice cues. Saw them at the cue show last weekend. Just beautiful. Had I not just bought a new Mezz I would have been tempted to purchase one for sure.
 
Morning bump for a couple more offers. She is interested in a couple and wants to see a few more if available.
