During one of the podcasts that I recently heard Scott talked about taking Dippy off for 1.2 million. He mentioned it was the biggest win of the 21 century playing pool. No doubt! My question is it took 10 years for this info to get out. Was it kept on the down low on purpose(IRS) or was it just never mentioned on AZ. Does anyone has any info on days or sets they played. Where is Dippy these days.

It was all right here on AZ Billiards. Billy Incardone was involved. The story was straight out of Fargo. Start here and google as much as you can handle. https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/the-way-it-really-went-down.193667/

It was full of all kinds of stories, physical threats, ridiculous spots, lying, stealing, cheating, rigging and other such things existed well before politics took over. 😉 If I recall, even a report of a stolen card.

Let's put it this way; It's not how much you win, it's how much you get paid and what you have to do to get it. It's the greatest story ever told on AZ billiards pre Facebook days - we lived it with them.

I remember some of it now I don't think a total of 1.2 was ever mentioned. I know they played a few times.

It was known a while ago, quite a few players were going after the poker players money.
