FS: 1967 Brunswick Gold Crown (4-1/2' x 9') with Ball Return - Stained Rosewood Color

bump to the top for a really awesome table. Are you a table mechanic as a profession or is it just a hobby? either way great job.

Thanks, David! It is much appreciated. I'm actually just an engineer but I guess it is my attention to detail and sheer will power that pulled me through this project. LOL. I did a ton of research and just took my time on it. It took me over a year to get the whole thing done, spending free time on it after work and on weekends.

I had a professional table mechanic handle the pocket & cushion work though. The staining and cleaning up of the table was enough to keep me busy. Wish I could get myself to work that hard on my pool game. :grin-square: It will be really sad to see it go.

Thanks guys! I put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into this table, so the nice comments are greatly appreciated. :)

Price Reduced!

Brunswick Gold Crown with ball return system and matching Diamond light.

The bad:

Metal pocket castings could stand to be re- powder coated or plated, as they have a few blemishes. I believe a replacement set of replated castings cost around $500 (saw them on some website, maybe Classic Billiards). Or the existing ones could be replated for less, depending on where you get it done. I did a little research on this but after taking so long to get everything else ready, I didn't want to wait to set the table up.

.

Beautiful Gold Crown! I wouldn't have the castings plated or powdercoated. You can have the castings buffed to a chrome like finish which will look better and not need anything added to the surface.

Let's drop the price again. I love my table but I'm selling it because I just don't use it right now and it's such a waste. Neighbor complains about pool balls and I'm too nice to drive a crazy person crazy.

I'm eventually going to move and I don't want to move the table again. It's such a hassle to find the space for it, only to be paranoid that a roommate's friend will put a beer on it, or sit on a cushion. So far I've been lucky. If I get it sold, I'll probably use the money towards a car... much easier to move than a pool table. :)

Really this table deserves a better home than I can give it right now. Honestly, I should have never bought a pool table before a house. :( A table like this should be installed in it's own room and left in place for many years. I can't even justify paying for a high-end install cuz I never know how long I'll live in one place.

If I end up moving again before selling the table, chances are I'll take it back off the market if I get it set it up again where it doesn't bother anyone to play on it. So if you like the table, come get it before it's too late!!

Thanks, Sherm! I appreciate the advice. I'll have to check that out. :)
