For sale are two Pete Tascarella brown phenolic nickel-silver ring shafts. Both shafts look they have never been played, not even once.

Both shafts are 29.0 inches and fit a 5/16-14 screw (the thread size information was inadvertently omitted from my original post, but then added as a result of Bill yard's post below to this for sale thread). The shaft with an original Moori tip weighs 4.0 oz., is 12.67 mm (measured where the Ivory ferrule meets the shaft wood), and rolls dead straight. The shaft with the Le Pro tip is 3.5 oz. and is 12.68 mm (measured where the Ivory ferrule meets the shaft wood) and has a very (and I mean very) slight taper roll in the middle of the shaft, but is straight.

Both shafts come with a solid Ivory joint protector made by Jim Baxter, each of which has a matching phoenlic ring. They are a very, very nice set. The Ivory alone must be worth at least $100.00.

I spoke with Pete Tascarella today. He informed me that today's price for an Ivory ferruled shaft with a ring like the ones that I'm selling is $300.00, or $600.00 for two.

My price is SOLD in about 14 hours. Matt got a great deal!

These are indeed 5/16 -14 and are great playing shafts the caps or joint protectors are as long as the Ivory Joint and beautiful grain in the ivory! I ordered these from Jim and they were pricey indeed! Mike is a great guy to deal with and is selling these shafts and caps way too cheap!

+1 I totally agree.The shafts are great,the caps are awesome,and Mike is a great guy to deal with.When I saw these,I was tempted to buy them,and I don't even have a cue they match.Good luck.

I bought 2 Schick shafts from Mike last year. Also a great deal for much less than Bill would have charged. Mike was great to work with and the shafts arrived exactly as described. I play with one shaft and sold the other.
 
I was seriously thinking about these even though I have 4 coming with my new Tasc in April lol!! Great deal!
 
was thinking too but my brownies are different colors, so I backed out.
becoming 6 Shafts with my 2 new Tascs, hopefully in May :smile:

I'll post a pic with all the shafts and the cue. The match is dead nutz. I really like that these are on the thinner side. The cue currently has 2 shafts and they are a little chubby at 13.05 and 13.1 if memory serves me . Dealing with Mike was quick and easy.

I always aim to please and always accurately represent the items I sell on and off AZ.
