Hmmmmmm, best is north of 650? You offer it to me for $700 in a pm. Like you had a offer of $650. Now offers For $600 Hmmmmmmm. I would of bought
this cue If you didn't Play games.

Ever had a Buyer Moonwalk?

I'm not playing games other than 9 and 10 ball. My buyer moonwalked no harsh feelings here but your terse comments should be made via PM vs. the board if you want the cue ante up or shut up!

You would of bought "If" you say (I suppose you should of)

"If" a frog had a .45acp he wouldn't be scared of a snake...................

Jeez,

This Guy breaking my balls over $50.00?

I do appreciate the positive post that followed! Thank You!

This Diveney is1 of 1 to my knowledge the butterfly is MUCH longer than most of his work I bought the cue because the Birdseye is Holographic it's SICK and it plays well I may just keep it and see how it plays with an OB-1 until my OMEN gets here In December.

Could you pm me with the new price? After I talk to you on the phone you knew that I had a buyer for this cue. I was trying to work a deal that was good for you, me and my buyer. My busting your balls for $50, is my profit on this cue. My buyer was willing to pay $675 to $700 for this cue. Your last pm
was a take it or leave, for $700. You said you paid $500 for the cue, You and me could of both had a win win sale. I like everyone to win!

Great attitude. You should get it for $150.

Bumping The Diveney

Is it the cue, my yard, poor photos or what? I consulted Pat Diveney and Roy Mallot prior to purchasing this cue. Both of which were true gentlemen considering I was buying a cue third party and asking for help, I've spent hours on the phone wirth Roy Mallot (very knowledgeable), and Pat even looked at the cue via email at almost midnight.

I was told the cue has a current retail of $600-800, considering the quality of the Cocobolo and Snakewood. The cue has Ivory Ferrules x2, and Tons of Ivory ringwork, and an original lakewood shaft that has NEVER BEEN played! Even the shaft that has been played is Pats High End Stock!

Pat told me to duplicate the cue $900-1100.

Guys please tell me if i'm off base but this cue is a PLAYER and looks SICK you'd have to see the quality of the wood to understand.

Am I overpriced at $700.00

You wont hurt my feelings use the board and talk to me, I don't know my photo's are worse than a pissed in nine ball on a Hill-Hill Set!

the market is down right now and at $700 the price is too high.that is my honest opinion and you asked for input.the cue would probably not sell until you dropped it to $500 or maybe a little less.look around the board for $700 you can get a lot of cue right now.i am not trying to be rude or burst your bubble, but it is what it is and it is a Diveney sneaky pete.not sure where Pat came up with $1100 to duplicate it,but i don't see why.

Please give me an example of a whole lot of cue for 700? And 900-1,100 was the number quoted not flat out $1,100.

I suppose value is perception and if you look at this

http://www.indyq.com/custom/diveney/index04.html[/URL]

I feel as though my cue has better looking woods and more ivory.......

I Dunno?

I'm not hurt in the cue, I just assumed 700.00 was the number based on info like above and input from other sources..

thx mason

Nice cue. I liked it when I first saw it, and it just keeps getting better looking.

First of all - what size are the shafts?

Next, since "I was told the cue has a current retail of $600-<snip>", that's the most you can realistically expect to get in this market. I snipped after the 600 because anything after that is superfluous.

I am by no means trying to tell you what the cue might be worth! But Summer always sux, and this year is really soft.

Anyways, BUMP for a beautiful cue!!

Thx Von,

The shafts are Played (13.00mm) Moori Med 2 weeks new just now turning into a rock! :-)
And an unplayed 13.02mm with what I believe to be the original triangle..

My Pics Suck but here are a few different angles

idyq is not the best place to look for comps.he is the highest dealer out there.he tries to sell 6 point SW cues for $2900 while evryone else is low $2000's.the guy is unreal.he got all of those SW in the pakage deal dirt cheap from an old freind of mines widow.you have a pretty cue but just look around here,Bama has a mint Nitti that hasn't sold at $525.it is an $800 retail and he is a better know cuemaker than Pat.there are satin SW cues going for $1000.Omens going for $500.very fancy 6 point Darrin Hills going for $800 or less(great cuemaker by the way).Sruggs with points going for under $1000 and plain ones for $600.James Whit sneakies going for $700,one on Eaby right now.just look around.they are everywhere.i just boguth a 4 point Cocbolo flat-faced Jensen with 2 13mm shafts for $575.that guy has been making cues for 40 years.i just bought a Sugartree sneaky pete with 2 shafts for $625.those are so hard to find it is unreal.Cory Barnhart(a very very good cuemaker)fancy 5 pointers going for $900.the deals are unreal.Blugrass Merry Widows for $800.you can't even get on his waiting list now.they are literally everywhere.
