Yes Ty, there is careful attention to balance, shaft taper and wood quality, reducing a bit of shaft end mass, etc. All parts are threaded on. I hit balls with a typical Barenbrugge at SBE and liked what I felt immediately. The butt thickness feels just right to me, about 1.25 at end.
