OK, not square but rectangles. Just cut up a very old board of Brazilian Rosewood, was told it is about 50 years old. Had been used as a display base and had 2 threaded holes in one face, piece 4 shows the glue edge of one of the holes. Moisture content is 6%. Excellent high tonal qualities when tapped or dropped onto concrete floor. Color varies though-out each piece therefore the cost.
For those wondering why I am selling it is because this board did not suit the laminated cues I make but those that make traditional A-joint cues can. I have kept one piece for myself to make a full length cored cue. All the pieces are a little over 18" in length but 3 have small end checks and are priced accordingly. In the interest of seeing as many cuemakers being able to make a Brazilian Rosewood cue there is a limit of one per cuemaker. Shipping added at actual cost. Paypal or check. If your not satisfied with the structural quality of the wood send it back and I will refund the purchase price. If you don't like the color, than don't buy the wood. The pictures show 2 sides, one oxidized face and one fresh cut.

Piece 1: 1.5" x 1.8" x 18", cost $100.00 plus shipping. SOLD

Piece 2: 1.5" x 1.8" x 18", cost $100.00 plus shipping. SOLD

Piece 3: 1.5" x 1.8" x 18", cost $100.00 plus shipping. SOLD

Piece 4: 1.5" x 1.8" x 17", cost $94.50 plus shipping. REDUCED TO $70.00 INCLUDING SHIPPING! SOLD

Piece 5: 1.5" x 1.8" x 15.75", cost $87.50 plus shipping. SOLD

Piece 6: 1.5" x 1.8" x 15.75", cost $80.00 plus shipping. SOLD

Thanks carguy, will have total with shipping for you tomorrow.

#'s 4, 5 and 6 left. These are 18" long also but have some issues and sold at shorter lengths. You can still get plenty of inlay material out of the extra inches.

Just reduced the price of the #4 piece to $70.00 including shipping. I am going to the post office today and would like to ship the last pieces out at the same time therefore the decrease in price. This will make a great forearm and butt sleeve.

Good wood!!

Well, I received my square, and I like it really a lot. Great figure and color, but the tone....wow!. This piece has the best tone of any wood of this species I've run in to. Off the chart. This will make a very nice pool cue.
Expensive? Whatever. Best one I've seen. Thanks!
