For sale is my 2010 8-pointer Sugartree - Madagascar Rosewood / BEM in pristine condition. NOW ONLY 3 SHAFTS ARE AVAILABLE

It has 4 shafts where 2 shafts are high grain (17-20 growth rings) - used with brand new ferrules and tips installed by Eric this past March. (In Eric's own words, these 2 shafts "are the nuts!"). The other 2 shafts have 8 growth rings - brand new, never used. (Any chalk on the tips, seen in any of the pics, came from the bottom of the case in which they were stored in. I have not shot with the cue and/or shafts since I received them from Eric in March).

Also included is a matching Madagascar Rosewood blank square (also from Eric). It was my intent to have another cuemaker build a matching jump/break cue to match the 8-pointer.

The first 4 pictures came from Eric when I bought the cue ~July 2010. Cue specs and more pictures have been added.

Here are the Specs:

Butt: 29" Long, 14.85 oz.
Shaft #1: New, 29" long, 4.15 oz, 13.20 mm Medium Triangle tip, 8 growth rings
Shaft #2: New, 29" long, 4.15 oz, 13.20 mm Medium Triangle tip, 8 growth rings
Shaft #3: Used, 29" long, 4.00 oz, 13.09 mm Medium Triangle tip, 20 growth rings
Shaft #4: Used, 29" long, 4.05 oz, 13.00 mm Medium Triangle tip, 17 growth rings NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Here's more pics ...

I just noticed that there are a series of 2 white parallel lines running accross the butt of the cue, and on the shafts in the pictures below. These are reflections and is not on any part of the cue or shafts whatsoever.

Were the 2 Bottom shafts added after you bought the cue? Maybe its the lighting but the Ringwork appears to be a tad lighter?

Yes, you are absolutely right. The 2 newer shafts are a tad bit lighter than the 2 original shafts. The cue was made in July/August 2010, and I got the new shafts in March this year. I have not played with the cue since December 2010.

I was able to see this cue in person. It is a very beautiful cue and in wonderful condition. Everything rolled straight.

If I had the cash, I would have picked it up right away! Whoever gets this cue will be really happy! :thumbup:
