Cocobolo bluegrass. 2 shafts. Butt weighs 15.9oz. One shaft has a diameter of approx 12.6-12.8mm and weighs 4.1oz. The other has a diameter of 13mm and weighs 3 3/4oz. Both micrata ferrules with talisman med tips. 3/8x11 brass pin wood to wood joint.Brown/white linen wrap. A couple of player's dings on its butt area, say maybe 2-3.Nothing through the finish. Going for 1000 shipped!!!

scruggs,plain jane southwest or maybe even another bluegrass. but all in the region of 18.8oz - 19.2oz. willing to top up with cash of course.
 
Hi,

Who made the second shaft? It's obviously a different wood with less density, plus the color and rings of course.

Did Richard make the second shaft at a later date or did another CM make it?

yes, the 2nd shaft was made at a later date by Richard himself. As he would always say, the color of the ring will age with time to that of the butt's.
