I'm selling an Al Romero butterfly cue. Al Romero did cue making and repairs out of Hard Times Billiards in Bellflower, California. Not sure if he is still there.. maybe someone local can post up info on him. I know he is reputable for his work.
Specs:
I believe it's cocabolo into some nicely figured BEM.
The butterfly is a darker wood (rosewood?) and BEM.
Brown phenolic sleeved joint, flat faced and brown phenolic butt cap
3/8x10 pin. Threads together very snug
Butt weighs: 15.1oz
Shaft weighs: 4.0oz
Balance point is 19.5 from the end (not including the bumper)
Forgot to add that the finish is an oil rubbed finish
1 shaft at 13mm, conical taper, the tip is a red backed Triumph.
Don't know what kind of ferrule it is but I think it's just a regular type ferrule. Has a stiff hit. The cue is used but in overall good condition. It has a small ding in the butt area but nothing major at all. Cue also comes with a decent set of joint protectors.
I'm asking $225 includes ground shipping. Can post more pics and specs if needed.
