Three years ago, while at a Derby City tournament, I bought a shaft from Jack Justis of Justis cue cases. After buying the shaft from Jack, I wrote him an email asking him to remind me of what he had told me about the shaft. Here is my email to Jack and his reply.

Jack,
It was nice to meet you today at Derby City. I have always been a fan of your cue cases and have enjoyed your posts on AZ.
I bought that shaft from you today and recall you saying something about having made the shaft yourself. It was labeled a "Black Boar" shaft and I can't recall just what you said about it. If you don't mind, just remind me what you said about the shaft and its origins. I like the shaft regardless of who made it or where it came from, but if I ever sell it, I would need to know how to describe it accurately. Thanks in advance for your help.
Best Regards,
Bill Porter
Hi Bill,
Good to meet you too.
I purchased a BB cue about a year ago with 2 original BB shafts. I planned on using the cue but wanted to keep the original shafts unchalked. When I was making a few cues, I used to procure my shaftwood from Tony at BB. I made the shaft that you bought taking the exact specs taken from one of the original shafts. Before I was able to use the shaft, the cue was sold and I ended up keeping the shaft I made, which by the way has an ivory ferrule and Morri tip. Good luck with it and I hope it meets your expectations. If you have any questions, just let me know.
Best regards,
Jack
Justis Cases
I am offering the shaft for sale. It is in very good condition. I played with it a few times and then stored it.
Specs: weight = 4.14 ounces; length = 29.5 inches; diameter (just below the ferrule) = 12.7mm; the shaft is straight.
I am asking SHAFT IS SOLD.
