2005 Andy Gilbert cue. 5pts of the best purple heart I have ever seen into a great piece of gaboon ebony forearm. Ivory and purpleheart ringwork at a,b,c,d and e. purple heart at bottom of butt like southwest. 5 Ivory windows in butt with large ivory diamonds in each one. ivory diamonds in each point. 4 veneers. Maple, Burgundy, Burgundy and Maple. Both shaft and butt are laser straight. Brand new Kamui medium soft tip put on professionally last night. tip diamater is 12.8 and total weight guesstimate is 18.5. I know the shaft weighs a (full) 4oz. 3/8x10 flat face joint. No nicks or dings. shaft has a very light tint of blue, barely noticeable. Lots of Ivory. Pics do this cue no justice at all. Im into another brand, I had plans of keeping this one. I forgot to mention the wrap is perfect, leather with lizard print and is flawless. Andy does fantastic wraps and you have to spend a lot of time finding the seam. Also the cue is signed by one of the points gilbert 2005. Deacon
 
Dont know where you would have seen it unless your from California. It was on AZ about two months ago when I bought it. Before that, it was still the property of the original owner who had it made. I guarantee it to be what Im listing, its a great example of a Gilbert, hits and looks great. Thanks, Deacon

Um, uh, no - must be another cue. I bought it from the guy who designed it with Andy. I later sold it to Deacon, not on Ebay.

Saturday afternoon bump for a Sharp Gilbert. New price 1000.00 firm shipped. Great find at a great price. Even better looking in person.
 
I bought it with the one shaft. With a light cleaning, it will show as new. Has new Kamui med soft tip put on only a few days ago. I will have a second shaft matching with purpleheart ring, except no slots in the ringwork from Ed Young/kersenbrock on Wednesday, but its a premium shaft thats 4.2oz and I am paying premium money for a premium shaft. (Original) Kersenbrock taper. Im paying 225.00 for this shaft which he said was aging for the last 12 years in his and Kersenbrocks shop. I would ship cue for 1225.00 with this additional shaft or 1000.00 for Gilbert with its original shaft. I would send paperwork from Ed young verifying that he made it and the price. The original seller listed this cue in EBay twice. He got a dead bid in first listing. I remember the cue was sold in AZ for a very good price two months ago. It looks very good.

beautiful cue deacon.. i am not a big fan of purple heart but it looks like it makes that cue...

anybody who deals with Deacon will find out, he is a great guy to deal with.. no worries here.. if he said it is what it is.. he is a very honest and i would not hesitate to deal with him..

I have hit a few balls with this one and I can say it plays Great! I think it is a steal at his price. Alot of ivory and inlay work. After all his sneakies go for $400. Great guy to deal with, don't hesitate!:)
