I need to correct my post. The wood in the points and butt sleeve of this Eddie Farris cue may be Bubinga, not Bloodwood as I stated earlier. Either way, it is really, really nice wood in a great playing cue.

I have an absolute knockout of a cue from Eddie Farris (BB, Pg 296). This is not only one of the nicest cues you will see, but it is also an awesome player. With a solid ivory joint and ivory ferrules, the hit is sweet and crisp. Everything white in this cue is elephant ivory. If you have been waiting for a super nice cue, this is the one.

Sorry about the pix. Maybe the weather will clear up in a day or so and I can get back outside.

Specifications:

-19.5 ounces with either shaft
-Shafts (2): both are 3.8 ounces, 13.25mm and have Ivory ferrules
-Solid Ivory joint with a brass radial pin
-Real nice Ivory dash ringwork at A/B/E
-Nice curly maple forearm
-Four razor sharp, long Bloodwood (or Bubinga) points
-Each point has a solid Ivory diamond
-Perfectly executed brown stack leather wrap done by Dave Barenbrugge
-Bloodwood (or Bubinga) butt sleeve with 16 ivory inlays, four in the large diamond layout and four in the propeller layout
-Black phenolic buttcap
-Signed below Ivory joint "Farris 2000"

SOLD--

Having owned 3 Farris cues, I can tell you that they are top quality and play great. Good luck with the sale.

I miss that cue. It was one of those I wish I would have kept. It feels and plays better than it looks and it is a looker!!!

The cue market is running parallel w/ the stock market. I've played w/ this cue & it's a bad rascal! It's a shame when somebodys trying to give something away & no play. Eddie doesn't make a quantity of cues but his execution & playability are as good as any I've seen.

Thanks for all the input, folks. Whether it is Bubinga or Bloodwood, it is a superior cue....solid, solid player and an excellent example of craftsmanship.
