I've had a couple AZ'ers PM me with interest in my cue so I decided to post an ad for it rather than send details to everyone.

I have a Frey sneaky I received about 2 weeks ago but only shot with for 3 days (seriously). I had a custom Judd on order and wanted a cue in the meantime. I was told my Judd wouldn't be done until next year but I got a call from them last Friday saying it was almost done. Now I just need some funds as I don't need this cue and my custom Judd too. Here are the specs:

Weight: 19.7 (feels like 19.4-19.5)
Length: 58"
Balance point: 18.5" from the bottom of the buttcap
Shafts: 2 - 12.5 mm (one shaft unplayed)
Joint: Piloted Stainless Steel 5/16 x 14
Woods: Ebony and Maple
Details: Black buttcap with white Hoppe ring and "F" Frey logo
*Cue includes custom joint protectors made by CAM cues - ebony joint protectors with genuine ivory inlays

I'd be willing to let the cue go for $450 with both shafts. Also, there's about a 1/2" scratch on the played shaft 3/4" from the joint. Some idiot grabbed my cue while I was breaking with a house cue and managed to scratch it before I could find out who grabbed it. Just because of that I'm pretty much throwing in that shaft for free. Here are some pics:

That's a steal.

Nif, what happened to your JT1?

Still have it! I'm thinking about sending it back to Judd for a refinish (buttcap has some damage from the previous owner) and some new ferrules. I love that cue and will probably keep it for awhile. The only reason why I ordered a custom JT-1 is cause I wanted one more forward balanced and 59". You can draw the ball a mile with that cue...

Does Frey makes these with blanks or house cues from other cues and then attach his own shaft ?

The "plain" Frey SP I bought recently has a very nicely figured cocobolo butt. Even without the white butt cap and the black joint, it looks very little like a house cue. Not only is the wood nice, but the points are even. :)

Hits well, too.

got it!

Hi Jonathan,

I have just received the cue and am happy with it. Thanks and it was a pleasure to do business with you :)

Regards, Joel
