I have one of these Carmeli's and they are awesome. Great hit with very nice feedback. Not a "dead hit" type of cue.

Martin-this cue brings tears to my eyes. A very close friend of mine had an original TAD, exactly like this one. It was supposed to be prox 20 years old.
It was originally purchased by a very well known and respected pool player in our area. Before this man's death, he gave the cue to my friend. Not only was the cue a fantastic player, it meant the world to my friend, because of where it came from.

After a tournament in Reno, Nevada, my friend arrived home after the long drive, parked his car in his driveway, leaving his cue and case in the trunk of his car with all his luggage. He awoke the next morning to find that his car had been broken into, luggage, cue and case were gone. Some unknowing thieves had broken into three cars right next door, and taken off with other items as well.
Needless to say, my friend was devastated, and pretty much quit playing pool.

This is a beautiful cue, and only wish I had the money to purchase it for my friend.

Very unfortunate for your friend. People rave about these cues from Ariel, not because how they look, but because of the feedback due to the all core construction. BTW, I do layaway same price as cash.
