I was just curious, when you travel with your cues. Will the airlines let you take your cue case on the plane as a carry on or do you have to check your cues in.

Not a chance. 9/11 put an end to that.

You have to check your pool cues.

That is why I purchased one of these so my cues and case will be protected.

Must be tough when you go to pick up your cues from the conveyor belt and see hundreds of the same travel bags going around. Also, easy to get your cues stolen like that.

Thank you all for the bumps. Put a bright strap around your bags, it makes them easy for you to identify. This is a nice bag, no rips, tears in great shape.

You will always be at risk for theft. It can be stolen from your trunk or at your favorite place to play.

If you have to fly and bring a cue with you, outside of placing your case in a larger piece of luggage, what other choices are there?

You can ship it instead of letting the airlines handle it. And these days if the only reason you need to check your luggage is because of your cue, shipping it might be cheaper.

That's true as well.

The best thing for everyone will be the FTA taking the pool cue off the terrorist hit list.

We can only hope! Several years prior to 9/11, I was boarding a flight from Nashville back to SF and they wouldn't let me take my cue on board. I had to race like hell back to the check-in desk just in time to place it inside of my golf bag. Don't know what I would have done, if it hadn't been a soft 1X1 case.

Wow. I've been lucky. I was never questioned about my cue/case and always brought it on-board before 9/11.

I've left some expensive cologne in the hands of the TSA after 9/11, though.

I often wondered how that bottle of Creed looked in that TSA worker's medicine cabinet. :(

Hi guys I'm trying to sell a cue bag here. But I do thank you for the bumps. I used it to go out of town with by car. I could fit enough clothes and other items for a couple day stay, with my case in it. It will help to keep your case from getting scuffed up.
