Stunning... This is a spectacularly executed and unusual Wrapless Jacoby Custom Cue!
Am told this is a 1 of 1 cue in this color scheme.
See many pics below!! Cue is flawless... so is the original shaft, which is unused. The second shaft is a meticulously used, smooth, Jacoby Edge hybrid with no dings/dents on the shaft. I love this cue, but need to sell it now.
· Six Floating Ebony points executed on both the butt and forearm of the cue, into
· Curliest of Tiger maple with grey stained tones, with
· Six Turquoise Diamonds centered on butt.
· Cue is signed David L. Jacoby 5-14 in unusual, silver colored ink.
· Double silver colored rings at the butt base and upper forearm and matching double rings on both shafts.
· The standard shaft is blonde maple, with a 10 inch pro taper, a 5/16x14 piloted SS joint; LBM Ferrule, and a 13 mm w/ unchalked Tiger
Everest tip. In the vertical photo of the 2 shafts and tips the maple shaft is on the right.
- The second shaft is a custom matched Jacoby Edge Hybrid, meticulously kept, no dings, w a 5/16x14 piloted SS joint; the hybrid's normal Ferrule, and a 12.5 mm w/ ultraskin med soft tip
w clear piece much like a kamui. Please note there is a barely visible circular ring from chalk in the center of the ferrule. It is not blue, and I have always kept it clean ; it can possibly be polished out if you have access
to a buffer.
I have included a close up photos w my finger in the photo , barely visible.... near the top center.
- Comes with semi-custom Grey Dymondwood Joint Protectors (1 set) as pictured. Dymondwood is extremely hard to find since the factory burnt down years ago.
There was special use of a unique UV clearcoat that makes the curly maple resonate coloration as the cue moves when different angles of light hit it.
I am the original owner of this cue, and have had it in a protective case in my collection.
