WOW, I love the ringwork in the ferrules...

How do they play...???

Does the extra ringwork alter the hit any...at all...???

Very interesting. Agreed about the slick ferrule ring, as well as curious about feel...
Also appears they do not match exactly, I'm guessing that is a shaft #1 & #2 indicator??
Are the points going all the way up through the top of the forearm?
Pics in a well lit area without the flash could help show the intricacies of this unique cue.
(Some folks here use light-boxes, which make a world of difference in the pics).

The ringwork below the ferrules do not appear to alter the hit IMHO....

The points do go all the way up and reverse w/Ivory tip !

Bill makes his ringwork in proportion with the taper of the cue, biggest at the bottom and becoming smaller at the last ring near the pin. The ringwork does not affect the hit on this cue, I was lucky enough to play some with this cue and it's solid.
