I have a Gold Crown 3 in the so CA area. I will be extending the subrails to 4.5" pockets, Artemis cushions and Simonis cloth. I starting the work this week and if you catch me before I get started I can make it to your specs. You choose pocket opening size, I can do the angles of the stock brunswick or Diamond specs. If your interested and in So CA. Give me a call Donny with SD Billiards 866-379-8983. www.sdbilliards.net, $3500

I went ahead and added subrail extensions. I plan to cut the angles to Diamond specs which will put the pocket openings at 4 3/8" but I can still set them to Brunswick angle specs which will put them at 4 1/2". Then I will apply the Artemis K55 cushions and neoprene facing. Any interest this table will be ready to show in 2 weeks. 866-379-8983

Hey SD,

I thought that the Brunswick pockets were around 5 (but i could be wrong)

PS. i can't find the address on the copper plating place, but if you are serious on having it done, i'll drive to the place and get that info for you...

I work my own GC3, but what are the subrails?

always intersted in making her lay/play better

the subrails are the portion of the wood that the cushion glues to. I have extended them to make the pocket openings smaller.

I see. Did you extended you extended the surface behind the rubber, or on the end of the rail? Looks like the end, and I should've thought of that when I did mine. Instead, I went with 4-5 shims... They were close, but I got the tightest pocket down to 3.65"!

The problem with stacking facing is you have dead spots on the end of your cushions. Wow, your pockets are more like a snooker table.

Yeah, I kinda tapered the backs of the facings towards the back of the pocket.

and my engrish sucks! LOL!
