Wow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW, I remember when Troy had this cue for sale on his website before Mike had passed away. Very nice cue I always liked it. If I could have only known what the future would hold I would have found the cash to buy it for sure.

Thanks.............Paul

1/2 brain

1/2 brain..... The bob freys for sale and it's yours come and get it. Yes I got a black boar now and am so happy

I'd sell it to if I could get $7000..

I see that you are new to AZB. Just wanting to point out that it is considered a 'no-no' to make comments concerning pricing within an active For Sale thread.

A major complaint here is that many will no longer post a price for an item for sale, preferring to discuss via PM. Comments on pricing is one reason for this. It can also hurt a seller's chances for a sale.

The reality is that an item is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it...and apparently someone was more than willing on this one.

BTW...LOVE the gothic notched diamonds!!! So very cool!

People need to understand that there are any number of factors that can drive an item's pricing up or down. It is not up to us to 'babysit' every potential buyer. I have said it before and will say it again...people need to do the research in order to remain informed....and this is a potential buyer's responsibility. Seriously, not too many would buy a house or car without doing proper research...and purchasing a cue or other billiard item should be no exception.

I, too, have seen items selling here for not what I felt was out of line, but KNEW was out of line. I keep my mouth shut...because quite frankly, it's really no one's business but the seller and the potential buyer. If I feel very, very strongly about an item's pricing, then I will PM the seller and voice my concerns...sometimes the seller is a bit clueless as well. But I NEVER make a comment concerning pricing in an active FS thread. Unless I am mistaken, it is mentioned in the FS Forum Rules sticky at the top of page 1.

It's called Caveat Emptor: the principle that the buyer alone is responsible for checking the quality and suitability of goods before a purchase is made.
