Curly maple highlight the front and rear of this cue with a Cocobolo handle.
The accent rings in front and behind the wrap pull everything together to make this a stand out cue. Linen based fiber for the joint for a solid hit. The 5/16 x 14 thread shaft is old school thick in dia., 13.13 mm and weighs 4.3 oz. The butt is 14.5 oz for an overall weight of 19.1 oz.

A very traditional Joss Cue® with a pearl diamond in each point.
Solid black points with a high figured curly maple or flame birch front.
The rear on this cue is black ebony with an old style Hoppe butt plate. A hard maple core runs the full length of all Joss Cues. The 5/16 x 14 piloted shaft is 12.83 mm and is 3.8 oz in weight. The butt is 15.2 for a 19.0 oz weight overall. This is a great traditional cue that is just made to shoot lights out.

This Joss Cue appears to be a butt sleeve of a J-14. This cue has just been refurbished and has a new brownish / black leather wrap that accents the brown trim in the floating point from the J-17. No dings, dents or scratches as the butt looks fantastic. The original shaft is 12.3 mm and weighs 4.0 oz. The new shaft has just a hint of taper roll when rolled by itself and on the butt end. The new shaft is 4.3 in weight and 13.1 mm. The butt is 16.2 oz and the cue total will come just over 20 oz to 20.5 ounce. A true solid old hit to the cue. Cue shoots very well and is certainly in the best shape possible after it’s recent restoration. This cue probably made up of two different designs for a specific customer or a specific order.

# 5 Joss J-11 with Laser Art Techniques
This Vintage Joss J-11 cue has just been refurbished and has had a new black leather wrap put on the cue. Of course, no dings, scratches or blemishes are on the cue. The original shaft that comes with the cue has a weight of 4.1 oz and is 12.6 mm, it shows a little taper roll when rolled by itself and when together on the butt. A new shaft also comes with the cue and is also 4.1 oz and is a strong 13.3 mm. The butt weighs 15.4 oz, so the cue will be at 19.5 oz total with either shaft. The new shaft has a hint of taper when rolled by itself and when on the cue. The butt, when rolled has a little daylight under the joint collar in a spot and to the best of my abilities, appears to be the result of the lazar etching as I don’t believe it’s a warp. Cue shoots very well and is certainly in the best shape possible after it’s recent restoration.
