Here is a wrapless player from Kenny Murrell. One thing that Kenny does in his cues, is that he chooses some real killer woods. This cue is no exception. The birdseye is super figured, and the cocobolo has a really figured grain structure, as well. This cue has been played, but is in very good condition, with no dings, other than some on the very bottom of the butt, and a few bruises in the finished portion of the shafts near the joint.. Both shafts have some bluing. A really nice playing cue.

Specifications:

- Butt: 15.5 ounces, naturally weighted
- Shaft 1: 3.7 ounces, 13mm, LBM
- Shaft 2: 3.5 ounces, 12.9mm, LBM
- 3/8x10 brass pin, wood to wood joint with a black phenolic sleeve
- Very nice ringwork of double silver rings and coco/ebony dashs at all 5 positions, A/B/C/D/E
- Super highly figured curly/birdseye maple forearm
- Highly grained cocobolo handle
- More of the super grained curly/birdseye in the butt sleeve
- Black phenolic butt cap
- Signed "K. Murrell"
- Custom made "Kennybuilt" joint protectors are included

SOLD!! Thanks!

Joe

damn!!

Damnit Joe, you just HAD TO post this cue didn't you? :p THIS CUE would be a very nice early cue for my wrapless "merry widow collection". I'm unfamiliar with Murrell's work yet, but it looks like a killer cue!! Do you need a kidney or anything? :D lol Prying this kind of money from me for yet another cue is tough, but I'm heavily considering it  Maybe we can work something out on this cue, I'll let you know sir, Jeff

Thanks for the kind words, Jeff. I just got back from the pool hall with this cue. It is a very firm playing cue, extremely well balanced.

It's a good thing funds are low, or you would have gotten me into trouble with this one Joe. Beauty cue, good luck with it.

Nice cue. If I had none to play with right now, this would have been mine. =(

Thanks DJ...this is a great looking wrapless cue...but it is an even better PLAYING wrapless cue. I shot with it for a while tonight at the pool room, and let a few others hit with it. Very impressive...very firm hit.
