FS: nice Schon SP-28

Like the Schon's as you know! Was there a 2-3 yr period when they didn't logo the shafts or was it a shorter time period?

Schon SP-28

Hy,
I would be interested in your Cue, I am from Germany, can you send it to Germany???
And if yes, please make me a real good price...:-)

Thanks and greetings,
Roman

Here is a really nice Schon SP-28 from prior to 1993. It has the Schon shaft prior to the logo. This cue is in really good condition, with no dents or dings. The cue has 4 ebony points with red/black veneers (CNC), MoP notched diamonds in each of them. The ebony buttsleeve has four silver beauty rings and 12 MoP notched diamonds. This is a classic styled cue, very nicely done.

They were never marked prior to 1993.

From the 3rd Edition of the Blue Book of Pool Cues:

" In 1993, Evan saw some Schon shafts for sale that were adequate to deceive the unwitting buyer, so he started marking "Schon" on the shafts that same year. Shafts made in 1993 have "Schon" in gold lettering on the collar, and since then they have been vertically marked on the wood."

As with many quality cuebuilders, it is pretty easy to spot a true Schon shaft.
