Check them out. #3, #9 & #10.
I believe this was the Last Line of the great Palmer Cues.
#10 "The Silencer"
As described in the brochure on Bullet Cues from www.palmercollector.com ...........
For the gun-slinger who wants nothing but the best. Four prong color inlaid birds-eye maple butt is fitted with a stainless steel joint and black stainless steel trim. Inlays of veneer, mother-of-pearl and ebony are throughout the butt to make for a really unique cue. Canadian maple shaft fitted with an acrylic ferrule and French Champion tip tops off The Silencer,
the finest in large bore weapons.
Black leather wrap.
58", 20 ounces, 1 shaft.
There is an issue with the shaft on this cue. This Fall, there was a number of days in which the humidity levels were well above normal. The cue had been in storage at a poolroom that is below ground level. The wood at the joint collar became swelled to a diameter that is larger than the Joint sleeve. The shaft now has a definate taper roll, also. Even with this defect, the cue still hits well. Plus, the butt of the cue is totally uneffected and is in marvelous shape.
Remaining butt condition is excellent.
Beautiful cue.
# 9 Exterminator.
As described in the brochure on Bullet Cues from www.palmercollector.com ...........
Genuine African Ebony butt is extensively inlaid with red, white and black veneer strips and at the end of each veneer there is a triangle shaped genuine Mother-of-Pearl inlay. The joint is stainless steel, of course, and is accented with black fiber and stainless steel collars. Canadian maple pro taper shaft fitted with an acrylic ferrule and a French Champion tip makes this one of the finest looking and straightest shooting of the large bore weapons.
Black leather wrap.
58", 20 ounces, 1 shaft.
Shaft has a definate taper roll.
More noticeable apart than together.
Still a very playable shaft.
Remaining butt condition is excellent.
The ebony is gorgeous on this cue.
